What You'll Do

Role Purpose

The Business Analyst acts as the functional bridge between exchanges' market communications and QuantHouse's development and QA teams. This role is responsible for monitoring and interpreting exchange-driven market evolutions, translating them into clear functional specifications, and coordinating their implementation from analysis through to production release.

Working closely with Development, QA, and Technical Writing, the role ensures that every functional change meets Feedos standards and QuantHouse's quality bar before going live. This position has a direct impact on the reliability and market coverage of QuantHouse's feedhandler products for clients.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Write clear, complete functional specifications for market evolutions and product changes.
  • Explain the functional impact of each change to the Dev and QA teams, and to Technical Writers.
  • Write development tickets in line with Feedos standards and QuantHouse conventions.
  • Track development and QA progress.
  • Validate that quality meets group standards before authorizing production releases.
  • Follow up on production deployments.
  • Liaise with Network and Infrastructure teams on connectivity, exchange access, and deployment related topics.
  • Contribute proposals to improve quality, tooling, and processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally in financial markets, market data, or trading technology.
  • Basic Knowledge of financial markets (asset classes, trading mechanisms, market data concepts).
  • Linux (basic level, comfortable navigating and reading logs).
  • Fluency in English and French.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Use Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) to streamline the writing of functional specifications.
  • Excel and Redmine (ticketing/project tracking tools)

Soft Skills

  • Rigorous, curious, and passionate about financial markets and data.

  • Strong written/verbal skills to bridge business, tech, and QA teams.

  • Methodical approach to adopting new standards.

  • Proactive in asking questions, managing ambiguity, and driving toward autonomy.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary package reflective of your expertise.
  • Flexible hybrid working model.
  • A modern engineering culture where high standards, collaboration, and innovation drive everything we do.
