What You'll Do

Role Purpose

A Senior C++ Software Engineer designs and maintains core components, APIs, and tooling of the FeedOS market data platform, used by internal systems and external clients. The role combines deep software engineering with operational and DevOps responsibilities in business-critical systems. Given the critical nature of the systems, the role also includes advanced (L3) technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and evolve a mature C++ codebase (framework and core components).

Develop new features end-to-end, with strong ownership from design to production.

Write unit tests for the features you build.

Design and write non-regression test scenarios, sometimes ahead of implementation as part of a test driven approach, following the team's existing test patterns.

Work with multithreaded/concurrent code in a performance-sensitive environment.

Work primarily on Linux.

Use Python for surrounding tooling, including configuration, monitoring, and reporting.

What We’re Looking For

Engineering degree from a leading Tunisian engineering school or equivalent.
7+ years of post-graduation experience.
Advanced C++: Expert knowledge of modern C++ features, memory management, and code optimization for high-performance systems.
Multithreading / Concurrency: Strong ability to design lock-free structures and safe parallel processing to ensure low-latency performance.
Linux: Deep understanding of the Linux environment
Python: Proficient in writing scripts for internal tooling, automation, monitoring, and testing frameworks.
Git: Advanced proficiency in version control, branch management, and collaborative code reviews.
Fluency in French and English

Nice-to-Have Skills

Robot Framework / GitLab CI/CD / Java, C#/.NET, Rust
Kernel-bypass networking (DPDK, onload, ef_vi...)
Financial domain knowledge (Exchange/Trading)

Soft Skills

Autonomous developer who drives features end-to-end and makes sound technical decisions with minimal oversight.
Confidently and safely works within mature, large-scale codebases.
Communicates proactively to surface risks early and knows when to resolve issues independently versus escalating.
